Nearly a year

It is coming close to a year since we last said anything here. I think that the seasons are changing and we will be back to a point where we can blog once in a while again. Needless to say that our silence has largely been due to the demands of looking after a baby, a dog, both of us working as much as we can, studying, fixing leaks in the roof, trying to figure out how to avoid chemicals and still achieving a great lawn, reading books and still being confused by so much.... on and on and on.... it's life jim..

As a quick aside - I saw the movie versoin of Les Miserables last night (it takes me a while to catch up with the rest of the planet) - what a great story of grace triumphing over the law.

More soon.

There is a limit to how much talent one household can have on their porch swing. We maxed out with Susan Enan & Julie LeePosted by Picasa

A week or two ago Tim & Elizabeth took us out to this place called Bells Bend. It was farm land and has now been bought by the parks department. Very soon it will become a public park, but for now it is empty, the only thing that shared the space with us was the one skunk we saw. Posted by Picasa

Granville again

Granville

Another view - at sunrise if I remember right. Posted by Picasa
This is one of the views from the deck of the cabin. Posted by Picasa
While in Granville it snowed and Lewis seemed to feel very comfortable in it all. Posted by Picasa
We haven't put anything new up in a while, that's why these are a little out of date. In january we went to Granville (!hour outside of Nashville) to stay in a friends "cabin". You can just see the roof of the cabin on top of the hill in the picture. It's a great view from up there. Posted by Picasa
